ANIMATED MINDS, OUR TRAUMATIC WARS

cC

You can view the series Our Traumatic Wars on the Animated Minds website: here

Animated Minds, Our Traumatic Wars, is an extension of Mosaic’s Films award-winning series, Animated Minds, created by clinical psychologist and Mosaic Films CEO, Andy Glynne. As with other films in the series, these are animated documentaries, involving the real testimony (in this case from UK veterans) paired with evocative animation, to create a representation of what it is like to experience specific psychological difficulties.

The films focus on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as experienced by War Veterans, precipitated by an experience, or set of experiences, in armed conflicts in the UK’s recent history. The rationale of the films - as with all those under in the Animated Minds series, is to try to give a visually compelling and engaging way of understanding what it is to suffer from mental ill health - in this case, from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
