Produced by Mosaic Films, the film follows Paloma backstage as she struggles to balance the stress and glamour of being a popstar, with the everyday reality of being a mum. With unlimited access to the artist, this frank and authentic portrait of fame reveals an extraordinary woman caught between the demands of the present, her hopes for the future and a deeply personal reflection on her past.
Mosaic was commissioned by BBC Ideas for a series of three videos in partnership with The Open University.
Drawing on Mosaic’s history (and mild obsession) with all things psychological, these films look at the fascinating ways in which cognitive psychology explains how we perceive the world we live in. Peru: Undermining Justice is a film about corporate greed, and the sophisticated ways multinational companies avert justice for Al Jazeera International as part of its People and Power strand. Conflicts between mining companies and local communities have exploded across the world in recent times, as often remote societies are forced to accept mining projects they fear will destroy their environment and livelihoods. This is the story of one such mining company, and a group of local Peruvians who have tried everything to stop their livelihood being destroyed, with disastrous consequences.

Animated Minds, Our Traumatic Wars, is an extension of Mosaic’s Films award-winning series, Animated Minds, created by clinical psychologist and Mosaic Films CEO, Andy Glynne. As with other films in the series, these are animated documentaries, involving the real testimony (in this case from UK veterans) paired with evocative animation, to create a representation of what it is like to experience specific psychological difficulties.

Seeking Refuge is multi-awarded, BAFTA-winning series of animated documentaries for BBC exploring the experiences young refugees and asylum seekers who are living in the UK. Using the testimonies of five young people we worked with animators to tell their story visually. Mosaic Films have a unique reputation for innovating the use of animation and documentary together. The films formed a key part of Refugee Week in June 2012.

Tales from Around the World is a series of 6 x 5′ animated films for BBC Learning, based on the most interesting and unusual folktales from around the world. The series includes a story about the origin of the night from Brazil, a story about a Punjabi King who allows himself to be fried and eaten for breakfast each day in return for unlimited gold, and a story from Israel about the importance of personal choice and individuality
The Big Push uses the work of Scottish poet John Glenday, who was commissioned to write a poem in response to the 1916 Herbert James Gunn painting 'The Eve of the Battle of the Somme’.
A series of 7 animations commissioned by BBC Bitesize, to act as revision materials for students taking the WJEC GCSE Religious Studies syllabus. Covering a diverse range of topics, from Gender Equality to Lesser Jihad, the films were created using purely archive and real-world material to ground the films in their appropriate historical contexts.

Presented by Dr. Rupy Aujla, a practising doctor and advocate of the medicinal effect of eating well the films blend scientific nutrition information with a passion for flavour and cooking. The series helps equip home cooks with the basic skills they need to recreate healthy and balanced meals themselves.
